Children's author John Schu shares his love for reading to students at Hickory Woods

Hickory Woods celebrated National Read Aloud Day with a special appearance by children's author John Schu.

"Mr. Schu" met with students during two assemblies and shared his love of reading by reading aloud from one of his favorite children's books, telling stories about why he loves reading, and gave away over 50 books to staff and students.

This special presentation was made possible in collaboration with the Hickory Woods Elementary PTA.
